Refund policy

Effective Date: May 21, 2026

30-day return window. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all included accessories and documentation. You will also need the order number or proof of purchase.

To start a return. Contact us at support@exposuremethod.com with your order number and reason for return. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We will respond within 1-2 business days with next steps.

Return shipping costs.

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, except in cases of (1) damage on arrival reported within 7 days with photo documentation, (2) verified manufacturer defect within the return window, or (3) fulfillment error on our end. In these three cases, Exposure Method or the supplier covers return shipping and either replaces the product or issues a full refund.

For all other returns (change of mind, fit, preference, did not match expectations), the customer arranges and pays for return shipping. For large equipment requiring freight return (saunas, cold plunges, hyperbaric chambers), the customer is responsible for booking and paying the freight carrier.

Restocking fee. A restocking fee of 15-20% of the product price applies to returns of large equipment (saunas, cold plunges, hyperbaric chambers, Renew panels) for change-of-mind reasons. The fee is deducted from the refund and covers manufacturer restocking and re-inspection costs.

Damages and issues. Inspect every shipment upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

— Document with photos before unpacking further
— Note visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing
— Contact us within 7 days at support@exposuremethod.com with order number, photos, and a description of the issue
— We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund as appropriate, at no shipping cost to you

Damage reported after 7 days from delivery may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

Non-returnable items.

— Made-to-order products once production has started (including Renew Red Light Panels — production begins within 1-2 business days of order placement)
— Sale or discounted items marked "Final Sale" at the point of purchase
— Gift cards
— Used or installed equipment (equipment that has been wired in, filled, or otherwise put into service)

If you are unsure whether your specific item qualifies for return, contact us before initiating the return.

Exchanges. The fastest way to receive the item you want is to (1) return your original item per the process above, and (2) place a new order for the desired item. Direct exchanges are not processed automatically.

Refunds. Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval status. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Banks and credit card companies may take an additional 3-7 business days to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval without the refund posting, contact support@exposuremethod.com.
